Slow Electric - Slow Electric (cd)

Initially formed to play three dates at the 2010 Estonian Jazz Festival, Slow Electric is a new project from Tim Bowness and Peter Chilvers, and the Estonian duo UMA (guitarist Robert Jurjendal and trumpeter Aleksei Saks).

Using recordings from the concerts as a basis, Bowness recorded new vocals and Chilvers contributed additional keyboards and atmospherics. King Crimson?s Tony Levin added bass/chapman stick to two of the album's six songs, and the multi-tracks were mixed by ace Zurich-based percussionist/producer Andi Pupato (Nik Bartsch?s Ronin).

From the elegiac opener Towards The Shore to the 5/4 groove of Criminal Caught In The Crime, the quartet combines its collective influences - singer-songwriter, electronica/ambient and European jazz - with gracefully empathetic performances.

The Carl Glover designed digipack comes with a booklet featuring sleeve notes by Tim Bowness.

centrozoon - never trust the way you are (cd)

Centrozoon's album with No-Man singer Tim Bowness was released on Berlin-based Resonancer Records in 2004.

Also features contributions from King Crimson's Pat Mastellotto.

"Stark and spooky - a record of myriad charms." - Classic Rock

Centrozoon - Bigger Space - Live In Germany (dvd-r)

As part of its 10th anniversary celebrations, Burning Shed brings Centrozoon's Bigger Space back into print.

Deleted for over five years, the dvd-r offers a fascinating perspective on the short-lived Bowness, Reuter & Woestheinrich incarnation of the band.

Recorded in the Autumn of 2003 and filmed at a small-scale warm-up performance, Bigger Space is a unique document featuring hidden extras and the evocative black and white images of photographer Telemach Wiesing

This short but compelling release provides an ideal companion to 2004's Never Trust The Way You Are.

Presented with new artwork, this is available as NTSC Region 0 and should play on most players worldwide.

Memories Of Machines - Warm Winter

Warm Winter is the debut album by Memories Of Machines, the duo comprising Tim Bowness (No-Man) and Giancarlo Erra (Nosound).

An assured and emotionally cohesive debut, Warm Winter ably highlights the sympathetic musical chemistry between Bowness and Erra, and includes guest contributions from the likes of Peter Hammill, Colin Edwin, Robert Fripp, Steven Wilson, Julianne Regan (All About Eve), Jim Matheos (OSI/Fates Warning) and Huxflux Nettermalm (Paatos).

The album, which is available as a digi-pack cd and a limited edition heavyweight vinyl release, was mixed by Steven Wilson and mastered by Jon Astley (The Who, Led Zeppelin, Tori Amos).

'A beguiling mix of giant-sounding Art Rock and bittersweet self-reflection.' - Classic Rock

Unavailable since 2000, 'World Of Bright Futures', Tim Bowness's 1999 album with Samuel Smiles (Mike Bearpark, Peter Chilvers, Myke Clifford) is now available as an exclusive Burning Shed download.

Taking its cue from the timeless and sensuous late night ambience of John Martyn and the Blue Nile, and occasionally drawing from the darker terrain of Peter Hammill and Mark Eitzel, the album offers eight original compositions and two cover versions (Hammill's 'Ophelia' and King Crimson's 'Two Hands').

Featuring Sandra O'Neill, Tony Harn, and Porcupine Tree's Colin Edwin and Steven Wilson, World of Bright Futures is awash with cheap drum machines and high emotions, digital hardware and human heartache.
