A 2016 reissue of ELP's controversial Classical Rock live opus.

Recorded live at Newcastle City Hall in 1971, ELP's incendiary version of Mussorgsky's Pictures At an Exhibition gave notice of a band not afraid to trample on a few sacred cows.

Praised as audacious and damned as pretentious in equal measure, this controversial recording set the tone for many of the intrepid trio's adventures to come.

CD 1 is a 2016 24 bit / High Density remaster of the original album by Andy Pearce, plus bonus track Pictures At An Exhibition, recorded live at Mar Y Sol Festival, Puerta Rico 1972. CD 2 comprises an alternate version of the album - Live At The Lyceum, London, December 1970 - 'sonically improved' by Andy Pearce.
