The Nostalgia Factory EP (cd pre-order)

The Nostalgia Factory EP is the first release on White Star Records, a joint venture between John Mitchell (Lonely Robot, It Bites, Frost) and Chris Hillman (Magik Eye Records).

A collection of covers, the title track is a version of the Porcupine Tree rarity. Other songs come from ELP (C'est La Vie), Justin Hayward and Phil Collins (the rousing Take Me Home). Kim Seviour (ex-Touchstone) provides backing vocals on two tracks.

Lighthouse (cd / vinyl pre-orders)

Featuring guests Gavin Harrison, Colin Edwin and Mariusz Duda (Riverside, Luantic Soul) and engineered/mixed by Marcel Van Limbeek (Tori Amos), Lighthouse is the 2016 album from Russian Post-Progressive duo iamthemorning.

Lighthouse chronicles the progression of mental illness. The album takes the listener through the stages of breakdown via a central character and has been inspired by the works and lives of Virginia Woolf and Sylvia Plath.

The album artwork for Lighthouse was created by watercolour artist and long-term collaborator, Constantine Nagishkin.

Available as a CD in digipak with 16 page colour booklet and as a 180g black vinyl version with mp3 download code.

Electric guitarist Ben Monder has been making waves in Jazz circles for two decades, establishing himself as a genuinely new voice (in the tradition of Bill Frisell and David Torn) in a crowded field.

2016 has already seen his reputation soar as a result of his superb contributions to David Bowie's brilliant Blackstar album.

A gloriously atmospheric 8 track collection, Amorphae is Monder's first album for the legendary ECM label.
