Beat / Three Of A Perfect Pair - 40th Anniversary Editions (cd/dvda pre-orders)

The eleventh and twelfth releases in King Crimson's superlative 40th Anniversary series.

Featuring 2016 stereo and 5.1 surround mixes (by Steven Wilson and Robert Fripp) and extra tracks, these are definitive editions of the second and third parts of King Crimson's acclaimed and influential Minimalist Ethno-Art-Rock/Post-Punk 1980s trilogy.

The DVD-As (compatible with all DVD and DVD Rom players) feature 5.1 DTS and High Resolution Stereo mixes, and can additionally access 5.1 Lossless audio mixes and Lossless Stereo mixes.

As with the other 40th Anniversary releases, the sets are presented in a double digipak format in a slipcase and contain sleeve notes by King Crimson biographer Sid Smith (along with rare photos and archive material).

All material featured on this cd/dvda will also appear on a forthcoming box chronicling King Crimson's 1980s material.

Romantic Warriors III: Canterbury Tales is the third in a series of feature-length documentaries about Progressive Rock written and directed by Adele Schmidt and Jose Zegarra Holder.

Focusing on the music of the Canterbury scene, the film highlights 60s/70s Canterbury Scene bands such as Soft Machine, Caravan, Egg, Gong, Matching Mole, Quiet Sun, Hatfield And The North, Gilgamesh and many more. Musicians interviewed include Pye Hastings, Geoffrey Richardson, Dirk 'Mont' Campbell, Brian Hopper, David Sinclair , Bill MacCormick, Didier Malherbe (Gong) Phil Miller, Richard Sinclair and Daevid Allen.

Got Canterbury, the companion DVD to Canterbury Tales, includes interviews with Daevid Allen, Pye Hastings, Richard Sinclair, Dave Sinclair, Bill MacCormick, Didier Malherbe, Dirk 'Mont' Campbell, Theo Travis and more, and live performances by Soft Machine Legacy, Dave Sinclair, The Muffins and others.

iNDEX05 is the fifth DiN compilation album and includes two tracks each from the titles DiN41 - 49.

Marking the landmark 50th physical release on the DiN label, iNDEX05 is an excellent introduction to one of the World's foremost Ambient/Electronica labels.

Artists include Ian Boddy, Node, ARC, Dave Bessell, and collaborations between Parallel Worlds & Dave Bessell, Ian Boddy & Markus Reuter, Erik Wollo & Bernhard Woestheinrich and Parallel Worlds & Self Oscillate.
