Stupid Things That Mean The World (double cd / vinyl pre-orders)


A year on from Abandoned Dancehall Dreams, Tim Bowness returns with the powerful and eclectic Stupid Things That Mean The World.

Produced by Bowness and mixed by The Pineapple Thief's Bruce Soord (who also adds guitar), the album features a core group of Bowness along with members of the No-Man live band (Stephen Bennett, Michael Bearpark and Andrew Booker) plus Colin Edwin (Porcupine Tree), augmented by Peter Hammill, Phil Manzanera, Pat Mastelotto, Anna Phoebe, David Rhodes and Rhys Marsh. Andrew Keeling provides string arrangements.

Available as a special double CD Mediabook edition featuring a companion disc of alternate mixes and demos (including an unreleased No-Man demo from 1994), a very limited - hand-numbered - transparent vinyl version (with CD), and a black vinyl LP with CD (both LPs in gatefold cover).

All Burning Shed pre-orders come with an exclusive signed postcard and a link to a flac download of a 5.1 mix of the album by Bruce Soord (which will be sent out on the day of the album's release).
