Sides (3cd/1dvd box set pre-order)

A deluxe and definitive 2016 Esoteric label re-issue of Anthony Phillips 1979 album (3 CD/1 DVD in a clamshell box).

Produced by Rupert Hine, the album was the most commercial offering yet from Phillips, yet still delivered Progressive ambition and epics as before. The album's guest players included Michael Giles, John Hackett and John G Perry.

This deluxe edition features a 2016 stereo mix of the album, a re-mastered version of the 1979 stereo mix, a CD of demos, out-takes and extras, and a DVD (NTSC Region Free) of a 2016 5.1 Surround Sound Mix of the album. The lavishly illustrated booklet includes an essay by Jonathan Dann featuring interviews with Anthony Phillips and Rupert Hine.

J. Peter Schwalm

The Beauty Of Disaster (cd / double vinyl pre-orders)

A welcome return for former Brian Eno collaborator J. Peter Schwalm.

Schwalm's first album album for the RareNoise label contains dense and contemplative compositions evoking the spirit of mentor Eno, as well as core influences such as Miles Davis (Bitches Brew) and Ligeti (particular his music in 2001). Features guests including Tim Harries, Martin France and Nell Catchpole.

Available as a cd in digipak and a double 180g vinyl version (both come with a booklet).

Cross and Quinn

Cold Blue Sky (cd pre-order)

Simultaneously timeless and modern, Cold Blue Sky is the first collaboration between former King Crimson violinist and Mellotron player David Cross and Sean Quinn.

A sonic melting pot taking in Prog, Ambient, Synthpop and even a sprinkling of Dubstep, the album features guest singers including Beth Hirsch (of Air fame).

Black Noise (cd pre-order)

A re-pressing of the 2013 Esoteric label release of FM's debut album from 1977.

Combining Prog ambition with Rock energy and the unique violin and echo mandolin contributions of Nash The Slash, the album is FM's most highly-rated release and led to the band becoming one of Canada's best-loved bands of all time.

Live in NYC (cd/dvd-v pre-order)

A 2016 mid-priced digipak cd/dvd-v edition of Blackfield's 2007 performance at the Bowery Ballroom in New York.

This was Blackfield's first DVD and includes a full performance of 18 songs. The audio was recorded and mixed by SW into stereo and 5.1 surround sound, and the film was edited by Lasse Hoile. Also includes the promo videos for the three singles from the debut album and a photo gallery.

Digipak with a 4 page colour booklet.
