At the end of 2010, Poly Styrene, the iconic face of the seminal X-Ray Spex announced her return with the alternative festive anthem, Black Christmas.

Poly's full-scale album follow-up, Generation Indigo, has been produced by Youth (Killing Joke, The Fireman, Edwyn Collins etc), and flirts with power-pop, electro-pop and dubstep styles, while also evoking the inspired punk thrash of her heyday.

伝説的パンクバンド、Xレイ・スペックスの、2008年のラウンドハウスのソールドアウト・スペシャル復活ライブ収録CD/DVD.

1976年、ポリー・スタイリーンは、NMEとメロディー・メイカーにバンド募集の広告を出し、集まった仲間でXレイ・スペックスを結成した。Xレ イ・スペックスは、当時の多くのパンクバンドの中でも、一際違った輝きを放っていた。彼らの音楽は、パワフルで切れのいいリフ、不思議な魅力のサックスと ポリー・スタイリーンのエネルギッシュでよく通るボーカル、そして一線を画した、プラスチック的消費社会に切り込んだ先見性ある歌詞、それら全てがパーフェクトにブレンドされていた。バンド活動は1977－1979までと非常に短い期間だったが、数々のヒット曲を出している。

Xレイ・スペックスにとって実に1979年以来となる一夜限りの復帰ライブ。ボーカルに伝説のパンククイーン、ポリー・スタイリーンを迎え、彼女を支えるバッキング・バンドには、べーシストのポール・ディーン、ドラマーのシド・トゥルーラブ（アナクロ・パンクバンド『ルーベラ・バレエ（Rubella Ballet』メンバー）ギタリストのGt.サックスビー、(元『アーノルド（Arnold』メンバー)、そしてフラッシュ（元『リップ・リグ＆パニック（Rip Rig & Panic』メンバー。
