henry fool - henry fool (cd)
Producing one of the most original and emotive Progressive/Art Rock sounds of the last decade, Henry Fool is the surprising and eclectic new band comprising Stephen Bennett (keyboards), Tim Bowness (guitar and vocals), Peter Chilvers (bass), Michael Bearpark (guitar), Myke Clifford (woodwind) and Pendragon/ex Steve Hackett Band member Fudge Smith (drums).
Henry Fool's music is a distinctive combination of 60's/70's Progressive influences (Gabriel-era Genesis/Pink Floyd/Soft Machine), contemporary textural experiments (Rain Tree Crow/Passengers) and hard-hitting group improvisations (King Crimson/Radiohead/Tortoise).

This album is a fine wine. Growing in scope and resonance. I have many weird and wonderful images in my head now. Must have my 260th dose.aaahhh!

Took me back this one.... For a minute I thought I was listening to Camel, Caravan and King Crimson all rolled into one. Very unexpected and very very good.

There's no better feeling than buying an album on impulse and it turns out to be magnificent. Soooo good!!!!

Brilliant album. A must for No-Man / Tim Bowness fans. About time we had a follow-up! Nice jewel case and great artwork too.

Great progressive CD, end to end. traces of Caravan, Crimson, Soft Machine, Weather Report, of course No Man, etc. Waited to order this one for a long time-big mistake.
