21st century schizoid band - pictures of a city (double cd)
Pictures Of A City documents the 21st Century Schizoid Band's appearance at the legendary New York venue, BB King's in 2004. The 2 CD set comes in a deluxe full colour digi-pack by acclaimed designer Phil Smee, and contains many photographs as well as extensive sleeve notes and commentary from the group.
Sounding both relaxed and confident they storm through a career-best set, surpassing not only their other live releases to date, but outstripping some of the in-concert renditions by previous incarnations of King Crimson as well.
Of this release Mel Collins comments "I think with this live album we got somewhere close to playing with the same amount of passion and ability that I was hoping for when we put the band together in 2002."
With pristine soundboard quality and the band playing up to an enthusiastic New York crowd, this double album is the definitive live release by the group.

An absolutely incredible compilation of Krimson's best vintage material performed by the bands' alumni. This disc set is a must-have for any Crimhead. Awesome renditions of ITCOTKC, Cadence and Cascade, Starless. Beautiful solo performances by Mel Collins and McDonald. Jakko was the icing on the cake!
