porcupine tree - nil recurring (cd)
Following the release of the acclaimed Fear of a Blank Planet album comes this mini album (29 minutes of music) containing four lengthy tracks written during the same sessions, completed over the Summer, and now presented as a cohesive self contained PT work in their own right. The title track is an instrumental featuring Robert Fripp on lead guitar, and the whole EP moves through the full PT spectrum of atmospheric ambience, melodic hooks, and crushing riffs.
This Peaceville edition of Nil Recurring contains the same material as the Transmission version, but comes packaged in a super jewel case with textured slipcase, instead of the fold out digipack.

A special limited edition of only 1,000 copies worldwide pressed on blue/black marbled 180 gram double vinyl, housed in a numbered picture slipcase, and with the addition of a glossy full-colour 16-page 12x12inch picture booklet. The limited edition is only available directly from ToneFloat and Porcupine Tree (one copy only per customer).

Grammy nominated, limited edition audiophile 5.1 surround sound version of PT’s acclaimed 2007 album, released on the band’s own Transmission imprint. Features the 5.1 mix of the album in advanced resolution/MLP lossless 5.1 surround, DTS 5.1 digital surround sound, and 24 bit stereo, as well as all 4 tracks from the Nil Recurring mini album in surround sound. The disc also includes three video works directed by Lasse Hoile: a special Blank Planet Introduction short film, the uncensored version of the Fear of a Blank Planet promo video, and the full length 17 minute film for Anesthetize as seen during the band’s live shows.
Please note, as with all the DVDs we stock, the DVDA is NTSC Region 0 and should play on the vast majority of DVD players.

The special edition comes in a 72 page hardback book package, and includes both the CD stereo version and DVD-V* 5.1 surround sound version (but without any of the bonus material or features included on the separately released DTS DVD-A edition).
Postage on this item is equivalent to two CDs.
* A DVD-V only contains the normal res 5.1 layer that can be played on any DVD player, not the higher res DVD-A layer that is for dedicated DVD-A players.

A reissue of the original box set in a super jewel case. Steven Wilson has also taken the opportunity to substitute the tracks Fadeaway and Up the Downstair with the recently recorded definitive versions with live drums by Gavin Harrison.
The super jewel case version replaces the previously available digipack edition.

Finally a live performance DVD by Porcupine Tree! The DVD comes as a 2-disc set. Disc one is a full show from the Deadwing tour filmed at Park West, Chicago in Oct 2005, edited by Lasse Hoile, with the soundtrack mixed in stereo and 5.1 surround sound by SW, and mastered by Darcy Proper (who mastered the award winning PT DVDAs). Disc two includes bonus live performances of Futile and Radioactive Toy from German TV show Rockpalast, the Lazarus promo clip, the live films used during the show for Start of Something Beautiful, Halo, and Mother and Child Divided, Gavin Harrison's "Cymbal Song" (also in 5.1 sound), and a photo gallery with well over 100 images.

A remastered reissue in digipack sleeve of this album of improvisations recorded during the sessions for Signify in 1995/96. No songs here, just 65 minutes of PT in spur of the moment flow.

A brand new edition of the long out of print 1999 studio album by Porcupine Tree, considered to be one of their best. The album contains PT classics such as Even Less, Pure Narcotic, Tinto Brass, and Stop Swimming, and has been lavishly revamped into a definitive 2 disc set. Disc one is a CD containing a pristine remix / remaster of the original stereo album, while disc two is a DVDA (playable on any DVD player) containing the album remixed into 5.1 surround sound (in DVDA and DTS versions), as well as a 24 bit high resolution version of the stereo mix. Also included are 5.1 mixes of bonus tracks Ambulance Chasing and the full length 14 minute version of Even Less, the promo video for Piano Lessons, and a photo gallery. The artwork has also been completely revamped, with exceptional new images by Lasse Hoile, and a beautiful package designed by Carl Glover. This is the definitive version of one of the essential albums in the PT catalogue.

Includes Blackest Eyes, Trains and Strip the Soul, This 2 CD version is now deleted (these are the last copies) and includes an additional 3 track bonus CD.

The 5.1 surround sound mix of the new Porcupine Tree album, once again mixed in collaboration with Grammy award winning producer / engineer Elliot Scheiner, and considered by SW to be the definitive way to experience the album. The DVDA contains a high resolution audio surround version for playing on dedicated DVD-A players, a standard resolution surround version which can be played on any DVD player equipped with surround speakers, and the original stereo mix. The disc also includes a wealth of bonus features, including three additional tracks from the album sessions; Mother And Child Divided (instrumental), Revenant (instrumental) and Half Light, a short film on the making of the album, and photo galleries.
The DVD-A cannot be played on normal stereo CD players - it is designed to be played on DVD players and contains the 5.1 surround sound mix as well as a stereo mix. There are three extra tracks, a short film, lyrics, an album trailer and a photo gallery. It comes in a jewel case case with an outer slipcase.

For the last release in the PT Delerium Years series, SW has revamped the original Up the Downstair album from 1993, replacing the sampled drums with real drums (played by Gavin Harrison), and remixing the whole album into far superior sound quality. This definitive version is augmented by a second CD containing the long unavailable Staircase Infinities mini album. Comes in a fold out digipack with sleeve notes.

porcupine tree - voyage 34 (digipack cd)
PT's trippy classic now remastered and repackaged in a beautiful fold out digipack. A single instrumental composition from 1992/93 spread over 4 phases and lasting collectively for over an hour, this is PT's entry in the ambient trance genre popularised by artists like the Orb and became a big hit in the ambient club scene of the early 90's when it was originally issued as two 12 inch singles. Combines trance rhythms with more typical PT textures and guitar solos. There is no bonus material on the reissue, but the piece has been given a third and definitive remix, and the artwork has been completely revamped with new Lasse Hoile images.

Long unavailable debut PT album now remastered and repackaged in a beautiful fold out digipack. On the Sunday of Life was recorded by Steven Wilson solo and originally released as a double LP. Lo-Fi by current PT standards, this is an album of future possibilities including everything from psychedelic pop to ambient interludes. The seeds of the future PT sound are also in evidence in tracks such as It Will Rain for a Million Years and the classic Radioactive Toy.

PT's 1995 album is regarded by many fans as their crafted progressive rock masterpiece. Spanning the period when the band went from being SW's solo project to a full band the album centres around the two halves of the 35 minute title track, an incredible journey full of melancholic vocals, long liquid solos, spacious textures and dynamic instrumental passages. This special edition is expanded into an epic double CD with the original album as conceived for vinyl on CD1 (real drums replacing the sampled drums on two of the tracks). CD2 contains an alternate version of the title track containing music that was eventually cut from the final album version as well as different lyrics, and EP tracks Stars Die and the 21 minute Moonloop on CD2. These three bonus tracks alone run to over an hour of extra music.New edition on Snapper Music in fold out

A 5.1 surround sound mix of Porcupine Tree's In Absentia by multi-grammy award winning producer and surround specialist Elliot Scheiner. The disc contains a high resolution audio surround version for playing on dedicated DVD-A players, a standard resolution surround version which can be played on any DVD player, and the original stereo mix. The DVD-A also contains a wealth of bonus material, including video, photo galleries and three additional tracks mixed for surround : Drown With Me, Chloroform and Futile.
Please note that there are three audio playback options on this DVDA, but that in order to access the high resolution audio layer a dedicated DVD audio player is required. On standard DVD players this option will not be available (though the standard 5.1 mix will be). This is NOT a fault with the disc!
porcupine tree - warszawa (cd)
Snapper issue of a live in the studio recording made by Polish radio during the band's 2001 tour (the last with Chris Maitland on drums). Also in the studio during the broadcast were an invited audience of Polish fans who helped to make the atmosphere on the night and on this recording so special, and the band consider this to be one of their best performances. The CD runs over 79 minutes and features almost the entire performance remixed from 32 track master tapes into pristine sound quality that is far superior to the original on-air broadcast. The Warszawa CD comes in a beautiful digipack sleeve.
