no-man - burning shed event 16.06.06

Taken from the unexpected impromptu no-man reunion performance at The Garage in Norwich England on 16th June 2006, Things I Want To Tell You was the spontaneously selected encore. Featuring a piano-led approach radically different from the Together We're Stranger original, this intimate and heartfelt rendition of the song marked a stirring live return for a band that hadn't played together on stage since 1994.

paul goodwin - burning shed session (cdr)

Goodwin's burnished blend of downbeat domestic poetry and cracked, acoustic beauty, calls to mind the West Coast 'sadcore' of Red House Painters, American Music Club and Idaho, while never losing sight of its uniquely personal and British origins. Recorded in a day with minimum fuss and few overdubs, the album also features cameo appearances from Peter Chilvers and Sandra O'Neill (Alias Grace). Paul Goodwin's impressive Burning Shed debut offers late night sounds par excellence.

Debut album released on the Halloween Society label through 3rd Stone.

Out of stock.

darkroom - seethrough (cdr)

Originally released in 1999, Seethrough is the most dynamic, twisted and song-orientated release in the band's career.

Seven slices of electronica-driven aural assaults (occasionally recalling the more extreme experiments of Underworld or Wild Opera-era No-Man), find Messrs Bearpark, Bowness and Os maniacally playing with the possibilities of the turn of the century pop song.

How S Club 8 should sound in 2003!

os - compilation (cdr)

Moving from Eno-esque Ambience to post-Orb Trance this set comprises the best of Os's work over the last decade.
