At the Gates' debut album The Red In The Sky Is Ours was released in 1991 on Peaceville/Deaf to widespread acclaim, the inclusion of violin sounds ensured that the album scored points for originality, and was innovatively offset by the intensely brutal yet melodic sound with standout track Kingdom Gone becoming a universal favourite.
 
After the release At The Gates blitzed Central Europe with label mates My Dying Bride, gaining the reputation as one of the most energetic and charismatic live bands around.Front man Tomas in particular earned rave reviews for his intense and totally absorbing stage presence.

SPECIAL RE-MASTERED DIGI PACK OF THE CLASSIC 'WITH FEAR I KISS THE BURNING DARKNESS

After extensive European touring with My Dying Bride, the band released this, their 2nd album on Peaceville's sister label, Deaf Records, entitled 'With Fear I Kiss the Burning Darkness'. It was re-released on Peaceville in June '95 as a double album with their first album 'The Red In The Sky Is Ours'.After the Earache album release 'Slaughter Of The Soul' the band spilt, the Bjorler twins, along with Adrian (who's now debunked to the Cradle camp) branched out to form The Haunted, meanwhile vocalist Tomas Lindberg has worked on several projects, most notably The Great Deceiver plus some guesting with acclaimed band Lock Up.

Terminal Spirit Disease was originally released in 1994. This re-release has been re-mastered & comes in digi-format. It contains the extra tracks: The Red In The Sky Is Ours/The Season To Come plus The Burning Darkness. Both tracks are live & were recorded when the band played live @ Nottingham Rock City for an MTV Headbangers Ball special.
