Three years on from debut album Sol29, Nosound returns with its highly anticipated second album, 'Lightdark', released through the Burning Shed label. Regarded by critics and fans alike as one of the most interesting up and coming alt/art rock bands in Europe, Lightdark sees the Nosound identity evolve into something even more focused and powerful.

Highlights include the 15 minute epic 'From Silence to Noise', the ethereal 'The Misplay', and the epic piano/mellotron driven ballad 'Someone Starts To Fade Away' (which features No-Man's Tim Bowness on vocals).

To coincide with the release of Nosound's new album, 'Lightdark', the band's celebrated debut release 'Sol29' has been reissued in a remastered and recompiled final edition.

'The Red Song' and 'The World Is Outside' have been added (taken from the 'Sol 29' studio sessions, the songs have already appeared in different mixes on Nosound's live dvd).

'Slow, It Goes' is a quality 'official bootleg' recording taken from Nosound's gig at Stazione Birra, Rome in January of 2007.

As with its dvd equivalent, The World Is Outside download provides a fascinating glimpse into the inner workings of the band.

An alternative version of the title track from NoSound's forthcoming second album, 'The World Is Outside' is a richly melodic and melancholy, mellotron-drenched song (with hints of late-period No-Man and Porcupine Tree) that once again showcases Giancarlo Erra's great promise.
