no-man - heaven taste (cd)

Originally issued in 1995, 'Heaven Taste' comprises a selection of b-sides, rarities and outtakes recorded in the band's home studio between 1991-93. Focusing on the more filmic and atmospheric aspects of the band's output, the album boasts a rich and seamless fusion of Ambient, ECM jazz and electro- trance influences.

Highlights include title track 'Heaven Taste', a powerful instrumental collaboration with ex-Japan/Rain Tree Crow personnel, Jansen, Barbieri and Karn, and an inspired cover version of the Nick Drake classic 'Road'.

Re-mastered and re-packaged, this Hidden Art/Third Stone release of the album additionally features an extended, 22 and a half minute version of the title track.

Heaven Taste is just about the most beautiful composition yet. A complete breath of fresh air. The remastered version has so much more clarity. It amazes me that I never tire in listening to this cd. In a hundred years from now, No-man will be the Beethovens and Mozarts of yester-year.
