No-Man - Schoolyard Ghosts (CD/DVDA)

A distinctive combination of beautifully detailed songwriting, haunting melodies and inventively cinematic production, Schoolyard Ghosts sees No-Man’s Tim Bowness and Steven Wilson expanding the band's sonic palette by collaborating with, amongst others, Theo Travis, Pat Mastelotto, Gavin Harrison, and the London Session Orchestra (arranged by Dave Stewart).

Featuring the sweetly hypnotic Wherever There Is Light, the warped dynamics of Pigeon Drummer, and the subtly evolving explorations of the uplifting 13 minute semi-orchestral epic Truenorth, Schoolyard Ghosts reveals the band taking its music to an even more focused and personalised place than before.

Available as a lavish digipack CD/DVDA, black double vinyl and limited coloured vinyl with bonus 7 inch disk.

no-man - "speak" snapper edition (cd)

The Snapper edition of No-Man's 'Speak' album.

Features sleeve notes by Steven Wilson, Tim Bowness and Dann Chinn and a bonus track in the shape of the 11 minute ambient piece "The Hidden Art of Man Ray".

The tracks date from the very earliest years of the band (1988-89), but were subject to re-recording and re-mixing in 1999. Steven and Tim regard the album as being amongst their finest work.

no-man - together we're stranger (cd/dvd-a)

This new 2 disc Snapper edition of No-Man's Together We're Stranger comes with the original stereo mix on CD, a new booklet featuring sleeve notes from Mojo's Johnny Black, improved packaging and an audiophile 5.1 DVD-A surround sound disc, also including high resolution 24 bit stereo. no-man - all the blue changes (double cd)

All the blue changes is the first career-overview compilation in no-man's history, containing tracks from all the band's official albums, as well as rare b-sides, unique mixes and previously unavailable album outtakes.

no-man - returning jesus (cd)

No-Man's fourth album, released in 2001, is the band's most ambitious and timeless to date and features a more organic band sound than heard on previous releases.

Uniquely and effortlessly combining disparate influences from chamber jazz and classical musics to experimental pop and singer-songwriter intimacy, Returning Jesus ranks as the finest achievement in the band's decade long career.

no-man - flowermouth (2005 edition) (cd)

No-Man's critically acclaimed second album Flowermouth is now available in a re-mastered and re-packaged new edition with extra tracks.

Featuring stunning performances from the band aided by a dream list of collaborators including Robert Fripp, Flowermouth effortlessly combines symphonic ambition, electro-pop drama and classic ballad traditions, suggesting directions that the band would develop further on 'Returning Jesus' and Together We're Stranger'.

This new edition of the album comes with improved digi-pack artwork, new sleeve notes and two extra tracks (Angeldust and Born Simple) featuring Robert Fripp's distinctive Soundscape contributions to the album sessions.

Includes free colour postcard exclusive to Burning Shed.

no-man - lost songs: volume one (cdr)

Featuring 'Flowermouth'-era contributions from Robert Fripp, 'Lost Songs: Volume One' is a 14 track, 60 minute collection of previously unreleased material dating from 1991-97 - flawed, but no longer ignored.'

no-man - radio sessions (cdr)

Compiliation of the bands 1992-1996 radio sessions in its original packaging. Previously available only through no-man mail order.

no-man - wild opera (cd)

No-Man's third album, released in 1996, is possibly the most experimental album in the band's catalogue.

Rapidly shifting from distorted grooves to sinister, jazz-inflected Trip-Hop and from choked rock riffs to more traditional ballad fare, Wild Opera represented a necessary creative departure for No-Man.

Out of stock.

no-man - all that you are (cd ep)

The second EP drawn from 'Returning Jesus' , featuring four previously unreleased tracks.

no-man - housewives hooked on heroin (cd ep)

The taster single from 'Wild Opera': a compulsive, propulsive, hypnotically bleak study of disillusion and wit's ends, with added spice added to the package by Scanner and two extremes from the "Wild Opera" outtakes box.

no-man - heaven taste (cd)

Now available at mid-price:

Originally issued in 1995, 'Heaven Taste' comprises a selection of b-sides, rarities and outtakes recorded in the band's home studio between 1991-93. Focusing on the more filmic and atmospheric aspects of the band's output, the album boasts a rich and seamless fusion of Ambient, ECM jazz and electro- trance influences.

Please note, following previous problems with faulty copies, these CDs have all been checked and are fully playable.

no-man - dry cleaning ray (cd)

No-Man's fifth album: a hybrid of reinterpretations and original songs stemming from the Wild Opera sessions which eventually took shape as Wild Opera's peculiar twin. Progressive sampledelic chutzpah and breakbeat science.
