amazing ! this was the first time I heard Steve Wilson on guitar and this is how I discovered his band porcupine Tree. Best work by the JBK trio hands up imho. Those amazing tracks are even more impressive live. I heard them in London at the Astoria and it was really a special night the album 'playing in a room with people' lacks many tracks from this concert go for it !

This is without a doubt my favourite album from the JBK stable. Jansen`s voice is very like his brother David Sylvian - lacking a little of the ultimate creamy richness of Sylvian, but , none the less, in a similar vein. The album is very reminiscent of Rain Tree Crow in parts. Mother London could have been a RTC or Japan track. It essentially Jansen and Barbieri doing what they do best - expansive keyboards, superb rythms, with beautiful vocals overlaying the lot. If you are new to JBK [as I was until recently ] but are a fan of Japan and Sylvian, this is the perfect introduction, I see the album is currently out of stock - Get more pressed soon Burning shed!!
