peter chilvers - stormwatcher (cdr)
A soundtrack inspired by Graham Joyce's fantasy opus 'The Stormwatcher', this album sees the versatile and prolific Chilvers extend his range even further. Fusing elements of ethnic and electronic musics with neo-classical scope and grandeur, 'Stormwatcher' is an instrumental celebration of a powerful literary experience. Fans of Gabriel and Part unite.

This is a soundtrack to a film that hasnt been made [yet] Close your eyes and let your imagination make your own movie in your head. All instruments by Mr Chilvers? Phenomenal . If Marble Calm twiddled your knobs, this will also.

Stormwatcher by Peter Chilvers is a work of true neo-classical genius. The album captivates the listener from start to finish with its wonderfully chilled out sounds but avoids all the cliches associated with this genre. Music that's good for the soul! The epic title track says it all really! Fans of Brian Eno, Harold Budd and Michael Stearns will enjoy this one!! Quality music - quality musician!

WOW! I can't get over how good Peter Chilvers Stormwatcher is - - been playing it constantly since it arrived. Maanged to prise it out of the player long enough to spin the Paul Goodwin. Fantastic. You guys hit the nail on the head!!!! Looking forward to the Altamont. cheers. Sonic.

Wonderful. I just received both of Peter's solo CD's yeserday and am in love w/ "Storm". I'm no stranger to this music (my favorites being Eberhard Weber and Harold Budd) and Peter certainly hits that vibe on this fantastic CD. My only complaint is that I would like to know where I can get a listing of the instruments played on these recordings. They should be listed in the cards inside the package, but sadly aren't. Good luck with the label, and here's hopeing you get good distribution here in the USA!
