David Sylvian / Robert Fripp - The First Day (cd)
Following on from their glorious and lyrical collaborative work on Gone To Earth, David Sylvian and Robert Fripp produced the unexpectedly fiery and funky The First Day in 1993.
Hypnotically groovy and intensely vicious, while showcasing Fripp's Soundscapes identity, the album marked a departure for Sylvian and can be more easily understood as a missing King Crimson link between Three Of A Perfect Pair and Thrak than a typical post-Japan Sylvian venture.
Pete Sinfield - Still (double cd)
An expanded double disc edition of Pete Sinfield's eccentric and beguiling 1973 solo album.
Featuring guest performances from the likes of Greg Lake, John Wetton, Ian Wallace, Keith Tippett and Mel Collins, though more whimsical in nature, Still shares stylistic similarities with King Crimson's Islands and Lizard.
Contains detailed sleeve notes.
Slow Electric - Slow Electric (cd)
Initially formed to play three dates at the 2010 Estonian Jazz Festival, Slow Electric is a new project from Tim Bowness and Peter Chilvers, and the Estonian duo UMA (guitarist Robert Jurjendal and trumpeter Aleksei Saks).
Using recordings from the concerts as a basis, Bowness recorded new vocals and Chilvers contributed additional keyboards and atmospherics. King Crimson’s Tony Levin added bass/chapman stick to two of the album's six songs, and the multi-tracks were mixed by ace Zurich-based percussionist/producer Andi Pupato (Nik Bartsch’s Ronin).
From the elegiac opener Towards The Shore to the 5/4 groove of Criminal Caught In The Crime, the quartet combines its collective influences - singer-songwriter, electronica/ambient and European jazz - with gracefully empathetic performances.
The Carl Glover designed digipack comes with a booklet featuring sleeve notes by Tim Bowness.
Quodia - The Arrow
Quodia, featuring Trey Gunn (King Crimson) and Joe Mendelson (Rise Robots Rise) is, 'A synthesis of music, theatre, video art, and animation; a psychedelic contemporary parable.' (BBC Moscow).

The music for The Arrow (2007) is divided into seven chapters, containing the entire piece in audio form.
'Channeling both Brian Eno and Jack Kerouac, Quodia unfolds an elegant spectacle, telling histories with surprise, mystery, fear, and salvation. A loaded weapon of the future.' - Toma Review

8 Armed Monkey, the band's debut album, was recorded live in Tokyo in 2004.
Ranging from atmospheric soundscapes to gut-wrenching, brain-thrashing noise this astonishing fusion of mercurial talents contains an inspired mix of original compositions and improvisations.

Travis & Fripp - Thread (cd)
Recorded at DGM Soundworld by David Singleton, with subsequent editing, mixing and mastering by Steven Wilson, Thread comprises nine improvised pieces by Theo Travis and Robert Fripp .
This unique and almost inevitable collaboration has yielded a beautiful sequence of recordings that artfully avoids the clichés routinely associated with “ambient” and “improv”, while wholly encompassing the core elements of both forms of music.
Unfashionably, perhaps, in an era where music is often portrayed as ephemeral or disposable, it is an album that rewards repeated listening, revealing new depths with each play.
