As always Gavin is incredibly inspiring and musical, yet so technically gifted. Both his videos and books have opened new possibilities for me as a drummer making my development easier and more fun in the last couple of years, gavin Harrison is a legend in the making, drummers will be talking about him for Eons as his contribution to the artform is unvaluable.

Great playing from Gavin again, this DVD has many surprises!! Complementary to Rhythmic Vision, this one gives some examples of PT songs (Futile, Halo, Sound of Musak, Hate Song) and brings insights on « what’s going on » theoretically (Sound of Musak and Halo). I was struck by how everything he plays seems effortless. The song Futile is absolutely amazing. The lessons on polyrhythmic structures gave me some tips on how to practice them and where to start. This DVD is entertaining as well, you can’t wait to see his « just for fun » chapter and the little « rhythmic clin d’œil » with the credits edition. Keywords : brilliant and original!! After listening to this DVD you’ll jump to your drums!!!
