hatfield and the north - hattitude (cd)
Following the success of Hatwise Choice, the Hatfield musicians continue their archive CD series with a second volume of rare '70s recordings. The series was given extra momentum by the discovery of a large collection of previously unheard live tapes, the highlights of which have been personally compiled by the band members themselves. As on Hatwise Choice (released in January 2005), the new CD contains a mixture of live and studio tracks (including extracts from the band's radio sessions) and features some hitherto unrecorded compositions.
TracksContains selections from live tapes, radio shows and one studio session recorded between 1973 and 1975. Unreleased tracks include Grosso Lavoro, Further Dances, Confiture de la Barbe, Elevenses, Farce Majeure, Extract (composed by Alan Gowen), Blane Over The Low Countries and the bonus track Al Clark Presents. CreditsHattitude is performed by the classic Hatfield line-up of Phil Miller (guitar), Pip Pyle (drums), Richard Sinclair (bass / vocals) and Dave Stewart (keyboards / tone generators).
