An intriguing cinematic fusion of Ambient textures, subtle improvisations and experimental Rock stylings, Alistair Murphy's ambitious "islands" suite is something of a modern re-evaluation of the early work of synth pioneers such as Tangerine Dream and the seamless conceptual works of mid-70s Pink Floyd.

The third Half Life album. Highlights include the rock/pop of "It’s Always Going to be this Way", the saxophone led "Walking out to the Wall" and the folky, "Almost Here". Building on the strengths of the previous album, the Half Life extend their range.

The fourth Half Life album. Highlights include the nine minute title track, a song that tells of the cultural storms that effect all our lives, and "Light up the City", inspired by John Glenn’s second journey into space, is a song of renewal and the fulfilment of following your own path.
